Amori Villa is a 5-star small hotel located on the peaceful Petanu River valley, in Pejeng Kawan, just 10 minutes from Ubud. There are 4 double/twin/triple suites and a 1-bedroom villa, operating as a butler-service boutique hotel. With full occupancy being 10-14 guests, the operational staffing is a generous complement of 16, including 3 chefs and 5 butlers, plus trainees. Through Trip Advisor, Amori Villa has been rated as the 10th best of over 800 hotels in Bali.
Amori has an immediate vacancy for another male butler who has very strong English skills and experience, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel. The role requires a person who is confident and experienced in providing exceptional guest service. Fundamentally, he must be a very capable driver and guide. The main responsibilities are driving, guiding and providing guests with information about Bali. Other aspects of the role are varied, related to guest service:
- organise guest tours, using contract drivers
- quality checks for quest rooms
- assist other butlers with FOH service (reception, guest check-in, guest relations)
- assist with food and beverage service
- guest invoicing
- occasional back-office duties.
Apart from the skills, knowledge and experience needed to be successful in this role, the person must be reliable, with a genuine love of people, a bright and cheery disposition, a positive attitude and a strong service ethic. (The strong reputation of Amori Villa must be maintained!). The ideal candidate will also be well organised and will have good numeric aptitude and Excel skills, such that he could to take on more responsibilities to assist the General Manager, when there is time.
